CROYDON COUNCIL
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE STRUCTURE OF CHARGES FOR PARKING PERMITS IN CONTROLLED PARKING PERMIT ZONES
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.8) Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 23 March 2020 made the above Traffic Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be:-

(a) to introduce emissions based charges for all parking permits (with the exception of resident permits, which have already been amended) as detailed in the Schedule to this notice, which would apply throughout all Controlled Parking permit zones within the London Borough of Croydon.

(b) to introduce a diesel surcharge for all parking permits as detailed in the Schedule to this notice, which would apply throughout all Controlled Parking permit zones within the London Borough of Croydon.

(c) to amend the existing Traffic Management Order to include the new charges.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 01 April 2020, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon' Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 209
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. K65) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment N0.K66) Order 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 3 Dovercourt Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 9 Hampton Road, Croydon, No. 6 St Luke's Close, South Norwood and No. 118 Norbury Court Road, Norbury.
b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA. 4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 61* Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/CH/K65 & K66 by 16 April 2020.
