(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.10) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, previously advertised as The Essex County Council (Roman Way & Roman Way Eastern Access, Billericay) (Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 107 Order 201*.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the existing'Permit M Holders Only At Any Time' restrictions on Roman Way Eastern Access, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon (Existing Eastern Parking Area): In the south east corner of the Parking area and to the north west of No.9a. Northwards for 3.2 metres and westwards for 4.8 metres.

2. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, this will replace any existing No Waiting Monday - Friday, 11am - 12pm restrictions within the below locations:

BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 6.3 metres north of the northern kerb line of Roman Way Eastern Access, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 29.3 metres to the end of the road.
Roman Way Eastern
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Roman Way in a general Access, Bi ericay south easter y direction for a direction of approximate y 14.7 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TQ670 937 revision 0 to revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 27 March 2020.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Fanton Chase, Shotgate) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Fanton Chase, Shotgate in the Borough of Basildon, from Second Avenue east for approximately 95m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/03/2020 to 08/04/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new sewer connection works relating to a section 50 S50-1330 is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Second Avenue, First Avenue, Bruce Grove and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Burnt Mills Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnt Mills Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 380m east of its junction with Courtauld Road for a distance of approximately 115m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14/04/2020 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0133363630 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Burnt Mills Road, Rushley, Tyefields, Rectory Road, Crest Avenue, London Road, Pound Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 02/04/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Juliers Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Juliers Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 20m south of its junction with Hilbery Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 08/06/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000925041 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Odessa Road, May Avenue, Hilbery Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 02/04/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kents Hill Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kents Hill Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Bowers Road to its junction with Albion Road for a distance of approximately 155m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13/04/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2291763 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Kents Hill Road, High Road, London Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 02/04/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.4) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 02/04/2020, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

(Rochefort Drive, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Sutton Court Drive/Warwick Drive/ King Henrys Drive and Ravenswood Chase, Rochford) (Temporary Introduction of 20mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Rochefort Drive, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Southend Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 20mph speed limit in that length of Sutton Court Drive, Rochford from its junction with Sutton Road to its junction with Ravenswood Chase.

3. To temporarily introduce a 20mph speed limit in that length of Warwick Drive, Rochford, from its junction with Sutton Road to its junction with Sutton Court Drive.

4. To temporarily introduce a 20mph speed limit in that length of King Henrys Drive, from its junction with Southend Road to its junction with Sutton Court Drive.

5. To temporarily introduce a 20mph speed limit in that length of Ravenswood Chase, from its junction with Southend Road to its junction with Sutton Court Drive.

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 06/04/2020 for 40 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000923309- Cadent). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

The Order came into effect on 19/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Southend Arterial Road, Ramsden Crays) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Southend Arterial Road, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 635m east of its junction with the slip road from Noak Hill road to its junction with Pipps Hill Road North, a distance of approximately 665m. The closure is scheduled to continue on 23/03/2020, as stated on a valid permit (EC30034835941 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while high voltage cable repair works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
The Order came into effect on 23/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
