CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CROYDON The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.4) Order 2020 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.4) Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, on 16 March 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice, a single yellow line in the length of street specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice and loading restrictions in the location specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

3. The general effect of the Orders would also be to update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 23 March 2020, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

5. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1 EA.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1
(Introducing double yellow line waiting restrictions "at any time") Canon's Hill
The south-east side
- From a point 15 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Deans Walk to a point 10 metres south-west of the south­western kerb-line of Deans Walk;
- From a point 4.8 metres north-east of a point opposite the south­western boundary of No. 1 Canon's Hill south-westward for a distance of 25 metres.
Deans Walk
Both sides, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Canon's Hill south­eastward for a distance of 15 metres. Delamare Crescent
- The north-east side, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Stroud Green Way south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres.
- The south-west side, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Stroud Green Way south-eastward for a distance of 13.5 metres.
Hanover Street
- The south east side, from the limits of the public highway north­westward for a distance of 5 metres.
- The north-west side, from the limits of the public highway north­westward for a distance of 6 metres.
Homefield Road
The south-west side, from a point 13 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 48 and 50 Homefield Road south-eastward for a distance of 60 metres.
Homestead Way
The south-west side, from a point 10 metres south-east of the south­eastern kerb-line of Thorpe Close to a point 6.6 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Thorpe Close.
Keats Way
- The north-east side, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Stroud Green Way south-eastward for a distance of 11 metres.
- The south-west side, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Stroud Green Way south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres.
Kensington Avenue
The north-west side, from a point 10 metres north-east of the north­eastern kerb-line of Willowtree Way to a point 13 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Willowtree Way.
Lower Addiscombe Road
The north-west side, from a point opposite the north-eastern boundary of No. 442 Lower Addiscombe Road to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 390 and 392 Lower Addiscombe Road. Oakapple Close
The south-west side, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Cherry Tree Green by 5 metres, so they finish at a point 20 metres north-west of the south-eastern boundary of No. 13 Oakapple Close.
SCHEDULE 1
(Introducing double yellow line waiting restrictions "at any time") Primrose Lane (the north-western arm running between Nos. 135 and 137 Shirley Road)
- The north-west side, from the north-eastern kerbline of Shirley
Road north-eastward for a distance of 15 metres.
- The south-east side, from the north-eastern kerb-line of Shirley Road north-eastward for a distance of 8 metres.
Shirley Road
The north-east side, from a point 5 metres south-east of the south­eastern kerb-line of Primrose Lane to a point 9 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Primrose Lane.
Stroud Green Way
The south-west side
- From a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Delamare Crescent to a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Delamare Crescent.
- From a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Keats Way to a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Keats Way.
Thorpe Close
Both sides, from the south-western kerb-line of Homestead Way south-westward for a distance of 10 metres.
Willowtree Way
Both sides, from the north-western kerb-line of Kensington Avenue north-westward for a distance of 10 metres.
SCHEDULE 2
(Introducing single yellow line waiting restrictions operating from
8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4pm, Mon-Fri) Homefield Road
The north-east side, from a point 3.3 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 51 and 53 Homefield Road south-eastward for a distance of 43 metres.
SCHEDULE 3
(Introducing loading restrictions operating from 7am to 10am and from 4pm to 7pm, Mon-Fri)
Brighton Road, South Croydon
The south-east side, from a point 1.3 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 305 and 307/309 Brighton Road to the southern kerb-line of Sanderstead Road.
CROYDON COUNCIL EXPERIMENTAL PEDESTRIAN ZONE OUTSIDE SCHOOLS FAIRCHILDES AVENUE, THISTLEWOOD CRESCENT AND COMPRT GREEN, NEW ADDINGTON. THE CROYDON (TRAFFIC MOVEMENT) (NO.1) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Croydon on the 16 March 2020 made the above mentioned Order under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act, 1985.

2. (a) The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit any motorised vehicle entering the streets listed below during the periods specified, with an exemption for those holding a valid permit issued by the Council.

Roads
a) Fairchildes Avenue (between King Henry's Drive and Corbett Close)
b) Thistlewood Crescent
c) Comport Green
Prescribed hours
8.00am to 9.30am & 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Mon to Fri
8.00am to 9.30am & 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Mon to Fri
8.00 am to 9.30am & 2.30pm to 4.00pm, Mon to Fri

(b) The general effect of the Order will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Order so as to accurately represent the traffic arrangements as they exist on site.
(c The restriction will not apply to vehicles being used for police, ambulance or fire service purposes, to liveried vehicles providing a universal postal service or to vehicles in the service of the local authority being used in pursuance of statutory powers or duties.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 30 March 2020, and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing the scheme and of the plans which indicate the lengths of road to which the scheme relates, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of 18 months beginning with the date on which the Orders were made at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

5. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order made under section 6 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers. Any person may object to the making of the Order for the purpose of such indefinite continuation within a period of six months beginning with the day on which the experimental Order comes into force (i.e. by 30 September 2020) or, if the Order is varied by another Order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force. Any such objection must be in writing, quoting the reference PD/CH/K70, must state the grounds on which it is made and be sent to the Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, Place Department, Croydon Council, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon CR0 1 EA or by email to parking.design@croydon.gov.uk

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SELSDON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate bridge replacement works and all related preparatory works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Selsdon Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Selsdon Road will be closed between its southernmost junction with Sussex Road and its junction with Chelsham Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via St Peter's Road, Coombe Road, South Park Hill Road, Croham Road and Addington Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 March 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over three nights between 10pm and 6am each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS TEEVAN ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation to lift equipment onto the roof of the telephone exchange building, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Teevan Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Teevan Road, between its junction with Lower Addiscombe Road and a point 10 metres north-west of that junction.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Blackhorse Lane and Teevan Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 March 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in one day between 8am and 6pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle involved in carrying out the works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of a modular building, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Briton Crescent and Briton Close, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Briton Crescent will be closed to vehicular traffic between the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 26 Briton Crescent and the junction of Briton Crescent and Briton Close;
