Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2020 Footpath 10 Brightlingsea
The above order, confirmed on 11th March, 2020, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 10 Brightlingsea. commencing from grid reference 60944,21693 and running in an east south easterly direction for a total distance of 142 metres to grid reference 60957,21690, to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a south then south easterly direction for a distance of 16 metres to grid reference 60945, 21692 then in a north easterly direction for a further distance of 14 metres to grid reference 60945,21693 then continuing in a generally east south easterly direction for a final distance of 133 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.
The new path has been certified as ready for public use.

If any person aggrieved by an order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, as required by paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court.
Zebra Crossing - Whitehall Road, Colchester
Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to install a Zebra Crossing on the following length of Whitehall Road, Old Hythe in the Borough of Colchester as follows: Road Description
Whitehall Road, The centre line of the proposed crossing will be located Colchester approximately 34.2 metres north east of its junction with the centre of Grange Farm Road.
The length of the zig zags will be as follows:
BOTH SIDES from the north eastern give way line of the Zebra Crossing in a northerly
easterly direction for a distance of approximately 17.2 metres.
BOTH SIDES from the south western give way line of the Zebra Crossing in a southerly
westerly direction for a distance of approximately 17.2 metres.
