(Oak Road, Pebmarsh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Hamsters Close for a distance of approximately 105m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31/03/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CA789W000IBBFD7DD01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole renewal works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Oak Road, Birchleys Road, Levitts Corner, Clay Hills and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Parsonage Street, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Parsonage Street, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Gardeners Road to its junction with Weavers Row, a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29/03/2020 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000915034 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Parsonage Street, Mallows Field, Colchester Road, Head Street, High Street, Bridge Street, Trinity Street, Mount Hill, White Horse Avenue, Tidings Hill, Kings Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(The Street/Cross End, Pebmarsh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street and Cross End, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 105m east of the junction with Hill House Road for a distance of approximately 280m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/04/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0008APREA4HCR02 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Clay Hills, Levitts Corner, Byndes Corner, Pebmarsh Road, Sudbury Road, Head Street, Colchester Road, Parley Beams, Stonebridge Hill, Halstead Road, High Street, Church Hill, Upper Holt Street, Lower Holt Street, Colneford Hill, Bures Road, Colne Road, Hornes Green Road, Peyton Hall Road, Cross End and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Countess Cross Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Countess Cross Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 170m south of its junction with Catley Road for a distance of approximately 90m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19/03/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01456787901 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while boundary box installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Catley Road, Bures Road, Colchester Road, Colneford Hill, Colne Park Road, Mill Lane, Lawshall's Hill and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 06/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.22) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'NoWaiting atAny Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 06/03/2020, as stated on a valid permit.
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then
re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion
routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each
phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast
installation cabling works are undertaken by John Henry Ltd.
The Order came into effect on 06/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or
until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
