) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, previously advertised as The Essex County Council (Various Roads) (Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 104 Order 201*.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the existing'Permit M Holders Only At any time' restrictions on the following length of Claremont Road and Elizabeth Way in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Claremont Road, Basildon SOUTH SIDE: In the parking area at the far south east corner Starting directly north of numbers 136/138 and140/142 Claremont Road, at 90° to the east kerbline. Length of 6.6 metres and width of 2.5 metres.

Elizabeth Way, Basildon NORTH SIDE: Commencing from the east end of the northern kerbline of Elizabeth Way (outside 112 Elizabeth Way) from this point 2.5 metres
west along kerbline, at 90° for 4.8 metres south, 90° for 2.5 metres east, back to the start point for a length of 4.8 metres. Map Tile TQ685 882 revision 6 to be replaced with TQ685 882 revision 7
2. To revoke the existing 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' restrictions on the following length of Wick Lane, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Wick Lane, Wickford  EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 1 metre south of the boundary of numbers 9 and 11 Wick Lane in a southerly direction for approximately 5.1 metres.

3. To introduce 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' restrictions on the following length of Cattawade Link, Dencourt Crescent, Elizabeth Way and Nelson Road in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Cattawade Link, Basildon WEST SIDE: From the boundary of 46 & 48 Cattawade Link in a northerly direction for approximately 5 metres.

Dencourt Crescent, Basildon  NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 2.4 metres east of the eastern building wall of no.61 Dencourt Crescent in an easterly direction for 6.1 metres.

Elizabeth Way, Basildon SOUTH SIDE: In the parking lay-by on the south side of Elizabeth Way, from a point approximately 3.1 metres east of the western building wall of 205 Elizabeth Way, in a westerly direction for approximately 6.3 metres.

Nelson Road, Basildon SOUTH SIDE: From a point approximately at the north-west boundary of 27 & 29 Nelson Road in a northerly direction for 5.5 metres. With a width of 2.5 metres an easterly direction from the north-west boundary of 27&29 Nelson Road.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TQ720 885, TQ715 892, TQ750 932, TQ725 880, TQ680 892, TQ685 882 revision 0 to revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 13 March 2020. Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
