(Bridleway 45, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bridleway 45, Rayne, in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Gatewoods Lane to is junction with School Road, a distance of approximately 400 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/03/2020 to 27/03/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public, while installation of new fibre network is undertaken. The alternative route will be via: Gatewoods Lane, Dunmow Road, The Street, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16/03/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Coggeshall Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coggeshall Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 60m south of its junction with The Green for a distance of approximately 90m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31/03/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1-42-79-170120- Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via East Street, Colchester Road, Coggeshall Bypass, A120, A12, London Road, Coggeshall Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(London Road & The Street, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce 30mph speed limit in that length of London Road & The Street in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Marina Road to its junction with Terling Hall Road for a distance of approximately 1465m. The speed limit is scheduled to commence on 27/04/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005BC005KN1W00HTFLDPVEL-ES2 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.
The Order will come into effect on 19/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Braintree Road, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Braintree Road, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church End for a distance of approximately 70m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/03/2020 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010540769-Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via High Street, Hudsons Hill, Hedingham Road, Blackmore End, Wethersfield Road, Almshouse Green, Prayors Hill, Rectory Road, Swan Street, Potter Street, Queen Street, Braintree Road, The Street, Gosfield Road, High Garrett, Broad Road Roundabout, Braintree Bypass-A131, Broad Road, Convent Hill, Bradford Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 05/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Manor Street, Fairfield Road and Victoria Street, Braintree) (Introduction of One Way) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a oneway in that length of Manor Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Railway Street to its junction with Fairfield Road, a distance of approximately 395m (traffic to flow east to west).
2. To temporarily introduce a one way in that length of Fairfield Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Manor Street to its junction with Victoria Street, a distance of approximately 95m (traffic to flow north to south).
3. To temporarily introduce a one way in that length of Victoria Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Fairfield Road to its junction with Railway Street, a distance of approximately 380m (traffic to flow west to east).
The "Essex County Council (Various Streets, Braintree) (One Way Traffic) Order 1997" will be temporarily amended to include the above one ways on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23/03/2020 for 519 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003918-Knight Group). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while regeneration works are undertaken by Knight Group.
The Order will come into effect on 05/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Approach, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Approach, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Thomas Way for a distance of approximately 20m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/03/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010551860-Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via South Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 05/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
