THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire County Council (Bridge Street, High Wycombe in the Parish of High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bridge Street for 42 metres. Alternative route: Desborough Road, Westbourne Street, Oxford Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst permanent reinstatement of the carriageway take place commencing on 8 March 2020 between 20:00 and 05:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Public Footpath No. 32, High Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 32, High Wycombe. The closure is required in the interests of public safety whilst planned tree works are carried out from 2 March 2020 until 30 March 2020, both dates inclusive. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the existing highway. The Order came into operation on 2 March 2020, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Public Footpath No. 25, High Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order, 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 25, High Wycombe from Bellfield Road to Hawksmoor Close. The closure is required to allow the safe removal of overgrown vegetation and to repair fencing. The works will commence on 6 March 2020 for 11 days. There is no suitable alternative route. The Order will come into operation on 6 March 2020, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Woodway, Princes Risborough in the Parish of Lacey Green CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Woodway from junction of Wardrobe Lane for a distance 138 metres. Alternative route: Woodway, Lower Road, Pink Road, Pink Hill, Brimmers Road, New Road, Horns Lane, Bell Street, Wycombe Road. The closure is required whilst Thames Water service pipe repair works take place commencing on 16 March 2020 between 09:30 and 15:30. Road to be closed between 09:30-15:30 only, all other times carriageway to be open. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Plumer Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Plumer Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres. Alternative route: Desborough Avenue, Kitchener Road, Oakridge Road. The closure is required whilst Thames Water reinstatement of the carriageway works take place commencing on 15 March 2020 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. Dated 6 March 2020 The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Mill Lane, Westbury in the Parish of Westbury CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Mill Lane from junction of Main Street for approximately 20 metres. Alternative route: Main Street, Mill Lane. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water service repair works take place commencing on 11 March 2020 between 08:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. Dated 4 March 2020
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (A40 London Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in A40 London Road for a distance of approximately 87 metres. Alternative route: A40, A404, A355 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst resurfacing A40 NPIF project works take place commencing on 2 March 2020 between 23:00 and 05:00 each night. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. Dated 6 March 2020
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Public Footpath No. 19, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 19, Chalfont St Peter situated between Nos 71 and 71A Fieldway for a distance of 48 metres to the entrance of the cricket ground. The closure is required whilst essential gas repair works take place commencing on 6 March 2020 for 13 days. Alternative route is via Public Footpath No. 21, Chalfont St Peter. The Order will come into operation on 6 March 2020, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Haw Lane, Saunderton in the Parish of Bledlow-cum-Saunderton CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Haw Lane for a distance of approximately 100 metres. Alternative route: Haw Lane, Chinnor Road, Loxborough Hill, Chorley Road, High Street, West Wycombe Road, Bradenham Road, Wycombe Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach blockage clearance works take place commencing on 30 March 2020 between 09:30 and 15:30. Carriageway open at all other times. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. Dated 6 March 2020
