NOTICE OF MAKING OF A DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119 HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (ABBOTTS LANGLEY FP60) DIVERSION ORDER 2020
The above Order made on 29th January 2020, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the public Footpath 60 running from High Elms Lane (public highway) at TL 1091 0194 continuing generally north north-east through gardens belonging to Fortunes Farm for approximately 150 metres to a gap in the hedge TL 1098 0207 thence north north-east through the garden belonging to Chequers Farm for approximately 45 metres to a gate in the fence at TL 1101 0211 continuing generally north-east for approximately 235 metres to TL 1115 0229 at its junction with Chequers Lane (public highway); to a line running from its junction with High Elms Lane (public highway) at TL1091 0194 then runs NE between boundary fences for approx. 180m to TL 1106 0204 then continues NNE between the field boundary and fence for approx. 90m to TL 1109 0212 then crosses to W side of the field boundary and continues NNE for approx. 180m to its junction with Chequers Lane (public highway) at TL 1115 0229, as shown on the Order Plan. A copy of the Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at front reception of Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Hertford, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday to Friday and at Three River District Council, three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth WD3 1RL. Copies of the order and plan may be bought at the price of £5. Any representation about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing, to Brian Gillam, Definitive Map Officer, Countryside and Rights of Way Service, CHN101, Environment and Infrastructure Department, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford, Hertfordshire SG13 8DN (ref: 3R/101/DIV) not later than 27th March 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Hertfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HYDE LANE, NASH MILLS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hyde Lane, Nash Mills from its junction with Woodlands Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Hyde Lane, Railway Terrace, Harthall Lane, Bedmond Road and Hyde Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycleway situated on the north west side of A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford from a point in line with the south western boundary of the ‘Watford Colosseum’ north eastwards for a distance of approximately 87m (“the Cycleway”). Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway. The Order is needed because utility improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycleway. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Toms Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Primrose Hill north eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Primrose Hill, Station Road, Gallows Hill, Gallows Hill Lane, High Street, Bedmond Road, High Street and Toms Lane. The Order is needed because the removal of vegetation and a tree around the railway bridge is proposed to be executed near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:- 1. that length of Bottom Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Red Lion Lane south eastwards, eastwards and south eastwards to its northernmost junction with Deadmans Ash Lane, a distance of approximately 505m. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Northwick Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Oakdale Road south westwards to its junction with Chilwell Gardens (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 25m. An alternative route will be via Northwick Road, Muirfield Road and Northwick Road.
