M25 MOTORWAY-JUNCTION 19, NEAR WATFORD TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prevent traffic access to works being performed in the vicinity. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closureofthe roads connecting both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 19 to and from Hunton Bridge roundabout (A41). This measurewould be in the interests of road safety while contractors working on behalf of HertfordshireCounty Council undertake resurfacing, road marking, stud replacement and all associated works on Hunton Bridge roundabout.
It is expected that the work would last for approximately 3weeks starting on or after Wednesday 1st April 2020. The overnight closures would take place between 22:00 and 05:00 hours (maximum period). The Order would come into force on 30 March 2020 and have amaximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works arecomplete.
Traffic affected by the closurewould be diverted using the M25, A405, and A41 in both directions. The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
