Temporary Closure of Public Footpath 5, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath 5, from grid reference ST 484 044 to grid reference ST 484 040 for a distance of approximately 300 metres. The Notice is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 12 March 2020 for a period of 26 weeks.
The Notice is required to allow the construction of a horse training area.
There will be a locally signed diversion in place.
