(Wash Road (west), Basildon) (Prohibition of Right Hand Turn) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
Sections 1(1) and (2), and 2(1) to (3) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, previously advertised as 'The Essex County Council (Wash Road
(west), Basildon) (Experimental Prohibition of Right Hand Turn) Order 2018'
Effect of the order: To prohibit vehicles from making a right hand turn on Wash Road
(west) onto the A176 Noak Hill Road in the Borough of Basildon.
'The Essex County Council (Wash Road (west), Basildon) (Experimental Prohibition of
Right Hand Turn) Order 2018' is hereby revoked.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 6 March 2020.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office
hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Kents Hill Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kents Hill Road, Benfleet in
the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 20m north of its junction with
Albion Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a southerly direction. The closure is
scheduled to commence on 24/03/20 for 1 night (19:00-23:00), or where stated on a
valid permit (AD037RO56578936 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for
these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The
closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover
replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water
An alternative route is available via London Road, High Road and vice versa
The Order will come into effect on 12/03/20 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nelson Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nelson Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Hockley Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22/03/20 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143384032-1 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve replacement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk
Water.
An alternative route is available via Victoria Road, Hockley Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 12/03/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Parklands Avenue, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Parklands Avenue, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Bull Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21/03/20 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBYK69EY09 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Queens Road, Eastwood Road, Daws Heath Road, Websters Way, Bull Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12/03/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.3) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 12/03/20, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Creeksea Ferry Road, Ballards Gore in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Paglesham Road for a distance of approximately 190m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13/03/20 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WANKTP0A01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing
and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Gore Road, Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road, Anchor Lane, High Street, Lambourne Hall Road, Creeksea Ferry Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 27/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hatley Gardens, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hatley Gardens, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 40m south of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/03/20 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEWAMHRM4F02 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct works are undertaken
by BT.
An alternative route is available via Hatley Gardens, London Road, High Road and vice versa.
