Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Epsom & Ewell, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, has made and approved the following figures as the amounts to be charged as Council Tax for the year commencing 1 st April 2020 and ending 31st March 2021 for each of the categories of dwelling shown below:

In accordance with the provisions of section 11B of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, notice is hearby given that Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, as the Billing Authority, did on the 31 st January 2019, vary the determination to a charge a higher amount of council tax (premium) in respect of long term empty properties to charge: With effect from 1st April 2019:
A 100% premium on unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for two or more years as at 1st April 2019.
With effect from 1st April 2020:
A 200% premium on unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for five or more years as at 1st April 2020.
With effect from 1st April 2021:
A 300% premium on unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for five or more years as at 1st April 2021.
