(B1393 High Road/London Road, Thornwood, Epping Forest) (50mph Speed Limit and De-restriction) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9tothe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To extend the existing 50MPH speed limit on B1393 High Road/ London Road, Thornwood in the District of Epping Forest from apoint approximately 86 metres north of the centre line of its junction with Rye Hill Road, northwards for a distance of 147 metres.
'Epping Forest District (B1393, Thornwood) (60 Miles PerHour Speed Limit) Order 1989' is hereby revoked.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 11 March 2020.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of anyprovision contained in it on the grounds thatitisnot within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds thatany requirement of the Act, or anyinstrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Various Roads, Chigwell) (Restricted Road &40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9tothe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To extend the existing 40MPH speed limit on the following length of
A113 Abridge Road, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately
25 metres north east of the north eastern kerb line of Pudding Lane, north east for
approximately 225 metres (the road is currently national speed limit)
'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Chigwell) (Restricted Road and 40mph Speed
Limit) Order 2007' is hereby revoked. All restrictions contained within the aforementioned
order will remain in force by virtue of this order
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 6March 2020.

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Long Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Fernhall Lane for adistance of approximately 645m in asoutheasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/03/20 for 2days, or where stated on avalid permit (EP201EH2287928 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway surfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Long Street, Fernhall Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12/03/20 and may continue in force for 18 months

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Pudding Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Gravel Lane for adistance of approximately 860m in anorthwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/03/20 for 2days, or where stated on avalid permit (BC005OP1W000WAMV9G2KPOLE -BT). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Pudding Lane, Abridge Road, Abridge Road Roundabout, Gravel Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12/03/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Pyenest Green Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Beech Hill Gardens for a distance of approximately 140m in awesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/03/20 for 17 days, or where stated on avalid permit (AZ0071000906392 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Wellington Hill, Wake Road, Claypit Hill and vice versa.

(Spring Grove, Loughton) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Spring Grove, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Summerfield Road to its junction with The Avenue for adistance of approximately 210m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23/03/20 for 72 days, or where stated on avalid permit (AZ0071000905628 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas works are undertaken by Cadent.

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council hasmade the above Order under Section 14(1) ofthe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Hamlet Hill, Roydon in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 225m west of its junction with Reeves Lane for adistance of approximately 390m in awesterly direction. The closure is scheduledto commence on 09/03/20 for 2days, or where stated onavalid permit (EP201EH2281091 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the publicand workforcewhile carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Monkswood Avenue, Waltham Abbey) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Noticeishereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarilyclose thatlengthofMonkswood Avenue, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 30m west of its junction with Windsor Wood for adistance of approximately 45m in asouthwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/03/20 for 5days, or where stated on a valid permit(AZ0081000893512 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilenew connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Thaxted Way, Quendon Drive and vice versa.
The Order came intoeffect on 27/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until
the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic &Clearway) (No.2) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily closethe various lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. Atemporary'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping'' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary'No Waiting atAnyTime' restriction and suspend anyexisting parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to thatOrder shallremain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 27/02/20, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergencyservices. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
