BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (A322 DOWNSHIRE WAY, BRACKNELL &
A322 BAGSHOT ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:
a) A322 Downshire Way, Bracknell - Whole length
b) A322 Bagshot Road, Bracknell -(Northbound only)
The alternative route for local vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A329 Skimped Hill Lane, A329 Millennium Way, A3095 Church Road, A3095 Bagshot Road or by this route reversed.
The alternative route for A322/ A329 through traffic affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A3095 Mill Lane, A3095 Crowthorne Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride or by this route reversed. The alternative route for local vehicles affected by section (b) of this Order will be via South Hill Road, A3095 Mill Lane, A322 Downshire Way. The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety during carriageway resurfacing works
The Order came into operation on the 16th March 2020 and its maximum duration will be 12 months. However, it is currently planned that the closure under section (a) will be in place between the 24th March 2020 - 15th April 2020 between the hours of 20:00 - 06:00. The closure under section (b) will be in place between the 16h March 2020 - 23rd March 2020 between the hours of 20:00 - 06:00.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
