COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND FRONTING THE PROPERTIES 16 TO 24 (EVENS) THE AVENUE, FAREHAM, HAMPSHIRE
1. Notice is hereby given that Hampshire County Council has made The Hampshire County Council (A27 The Avenue Improvement: 16-24 The Avenue, Fareham) Compulsory Purchase Order 2014 under Sections 239 and 240 of the Highways Act 1980, and under section 2 of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise Hampshire County Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purposes of: -
16-24
(a) the improvement of the A27 The Avenue, by widening on its northern side
along the frontage of 16 to 24 (evens) The Avenue, Fareham, Hampshire; and
(b) use by the acquiring authority in connection with the improvement of the highway aforesaid.
2. A copy of the Order and the accompanying Map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the offices of the Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester SO23 8UJ and at Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham PO16 7AZ and Fareham Library, Osborn Road, Fareham PO16 7EN.
3. Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport, Department for Transport, Local Authority Orders Section, National Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR before 30 January 2015, and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of the objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.

In the Fareham West Ward of Fareham Borough, in the County of Hampshire
Part of the front garden, access, wall, gates and tree of the property known as 24 The Avenue (plots 1 and 1a);
Part of the landscaped frontage, car park and access of the property known as Travelrest, 22 The Avenue (plots 2 and 2a);
Part of the front garden, access and trees of the property known as 20 The Avenue (plots 3 and 3a);
Part of the front garden, access, fence and trees of the property known as 18 The Avenue (plots 4 and 4a) and
Part of the front garden, access, fence and trees of the property known as 'Cranford', 16 The Avenue (plots 5 and 5a).
