PUBLIC NOTICE
LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley (Parking Places) (Charging Points for Electric Vehicles) Order 2017 (Amendment No. *) Order 2020.
The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. ***) Order 2020.
The Bromley (Free Parking Places) (Time Restricted) Order 1997 (Amendment No. **) Order 2020.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) remove two Pay & Display bays on the north east side of Ravensboume Avenue, Bromley and replace with a rapid Electric Vehicle charging bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) remove one Pay & Display bay on the north west side of Maple Road, Penge and replace with a rapid Electric Vehicle charging bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(c) remove one time restricted free parking bay on the south west side of Main Road, Biggin Hill and replace with a rapid Electric Vehicle charging bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(d) introduce a rapid Electric Vehicle charging bay in an unrestricted length of Nichol Lane, Bromley as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/ RP/T100/684 not later than 25"' March 2020.
Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
SCHEDULE:-
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS
At Any Time - 1 hour waiting time, with no return within 2 hours:-
MAIN ROAD, Biggin Hill, the south west side, from the north western flank wall of No. 196 south eastwards for a distance of 5.5m.
MAPLE ROAD, Penge, the north west side, from a point 0.5m north east of the party wall of No. 207 and No. 92 High Street south westwards for a distance of 7m.
NICHOL LANE, Bromley, the north side, from a point 6.5m west of the eastern boundary of No. 2 Burnt Ash Lane westwards for a distance of 6m.
RAVENSBOURNE AVENUE, Bromley, the north east side, from a point 15m south east of the south eastern boundary of No.48 south eastwards for a distance of 7m.
