Temporary Closure of Victoria Grove, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VICTORIA GROVE, BRIDPORT from its junction with North Mills Road to its junction with Coneygar Road, a distance of approximately 260 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 19 March 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 March 2020. This Order will enable BT, safe access to locate and clear duct blockages, excavate to lay duct and install new frame and cover in carriageway. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Coneygar Road - Sea Road North - B3162 - Victoria Grove.

Temporary Closure of Village Road, Bradpole
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VILLAGE ROAD, BRADPOLE between its junction with the A3066 and its junction with Fishweir Lane, a distance of approximately 30 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 2 March 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 April 2020. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution, safe access to replace all electrical apparatus in substation including building new plinths. An alternative route will be signed using: A3066- Townsend Way - Mangerton Lane - Village Road.

Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order
Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 26, Lyme Regis) (Part of the South West Coast Path National Trail) Public Path Diversion Order 2019
On 17 January 2020 Dorset Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in
article 3 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Footpath 26, Lyme Regis as shown on the order map as follows:-
From the existing path:
From the unaffected part of Footpath 26 at the western end of Ozone Terrace at SY 3373091640, west south west across the bowling green, then north through the Bowling Green Chalets and north north east through woodland to SY 33669175. Continue generally west through woodland to its junction with Footpath 13, south west of Hythe Cottage at SY 33509176. Width: 2 metres.
To the new path:
From the unaffected partofFootpath 26 at the western end ofOzone Terrace at SY 3373091640, south south east along a tarmac surfaced path, on the eastern side of the bowling green,to SY33739161,then west south west, passing through the car park to SY 33689160 and continuing north north west through the car park, passing to the west of the bowling green, to the steps at SY 33679163. Continue north west, via the steps, passing to the west of the Bowling Green Chalets to SY33669165 and across the access road to SY33659166,then north north west, via a slope with steps, to SY 33649167, and continuing generally north west through woodland (via SY 33589172) to the northern edge of the woodland at SY 3351991764 then north north west to its junction with Footpath 13, Lyme Regis at SY 3351791767. Width: The width varies; 2 metres between SY 3373091640 and SY33679163, 14 steps at 95 cm and 24 steps at 120cm between SY33679163 and SY33669165,2 metres between SY33669165 and SY33659166,1 metre between SY33659166 and SY33649167,between 84 cm and 2 metres between SY33649167, and SY33589172,2 metres between SY 33589172 and SY3351991764,1 metre at SY3351991764,2 metres between SY 3351991764 and SY 3351791767. Limitation: Kissing gate at SY3351991764to BS5709:2018.

The order comes into force on 24 January 2020 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 27 February 2020, make an application to the High Court.
