Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Hythe Bridge Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Waiting Date of Order: 24 February 2020 Coming into force: 3 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding, and parking suspended in the whole length of Hythe Bridge Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Worcester Street & Park End Street and vice-versa. The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Central Area, Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2011 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7148/MR)_

Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 9 March 2020 Coming into force: 18 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of gas mains replacement works which are anticipated to be completed 14 April 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Cumberland Road near its junction with Cowley Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Barracks Lane and Glanville Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7373/AC)
