ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Long Hanborough, Lower Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 9 March 2020 Coming into force: 16 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing work which is anticipated to be completed 3 April 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Lower Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A40 to Witney East, the B4022 and the A4095 to Long Hanborough & vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7210/AC)_

Chadlington, Cross's Lane

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 9 March 2020 Coming into force: 18 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cables works which are anticipated to be completed by 27 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Cross's Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T7303/AC)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Chastleton, Lane from Mill Corpse to A44 And road through Chastleton Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24 February 2020 Coming into force: 4 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cable works which are anticipated to be completed 27 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in:

1. the whole length of the road through Chastleton,



2. the whole length of lane from Mill Corpse to A44. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for closure 1. is via Road through Chastleton Hill, Chastleton, Greygoose Lane, Little Compton, A44 London Road, Little Compton, Newtown Little Compton, London Road Little Compton and London Road Kitebrook Little Compton. The alternative route for closure 2 is via Road from Crossroads West of Cornwell to Junction at Mill Copse, Cornwell, Chipping Norton, A436 Stow Road to Cornwell County Boundary Adlestrop, A436 County Boundary to Adlestrop junction, Adlestrop. Section of A436 from Crossroads south of Chastleton Barrow to A44, Chastleton and onto Section of A44 from cross hands hill to County Boundary Chastleton.



This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7305/7308AC)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Chadlington, Bull Hill Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24 February 2020 Coming into force: 4 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cable installation works which are anticipated to be completed on 17 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Bull Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via the road through Brook End, Brook Green - Daisy Bank - Green End - road from Pudlicote Lane to Green End - Pudlicote Lane Chilson -A361 - Mill End, unnamed streets to West End and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7302/RAG)_

Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure

Northmoor,Appleton Footpath No.313/9/10 Date of Order: 24 February 2020 Coming into force: 2 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of river Thames bridge inspection and remedial works which are anticipated to be completed on 31 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath No.313/9/10 over Harts Bridge 313/140 between Appleton and Newbridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible to the point of closure. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no local diversion route. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7367/RAG)
