THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire County Council (Bridge Street, High Wycombe in the Parish of High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bridge Street for 42 metres. Alternative route: Desborough Road, Westbourne Street, Oxford Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst permanent reinstatement of the carriageway take place commencing on 8 March 2020 between 20:00 and 05:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 March 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire County Council (Public Footpath No. 32, High Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 32, High Wycombe. The closure is required in the interests of public safety whilst planned tree works are carried out from 2 March 2020 until 30 March 2020, both dates inclusive. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the existing highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 March 2020, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
