Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C289 (Part), Winterslow; from its junction with The Plantation to its junction with Pitton Road to enable Virgin Media to carry out installation of fibre optic ducting. Alternative route: via the Pitton Road - A30 London Road - Clough Lane-The Plantation and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 March 2020 and the closure will be required until 22 March 2020. B) A338 (Part), Cholderton, Newton Tony and Allington; from its junction with Amesbury Road to its junction with Allington Track to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via A338 (unaffected length) - The Portway -Portway - A345 - Stockport Avenue - Underwood Drive - Pendragon Drive - Porton Road - A303 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on
26 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 until 27 February 2020.

C) Share Lane (Part), Sedgehill and Semley and West Tisbury; from its junction with C61 for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a northerly direction to enable Ringway to carry out bridge maintenance works. Alternative route: via Share Lane (unaffected length) - West Hatch - East Hatch - Hatch Lane - Monmouth Road - Church Street - Station Road - Jobbers Lane - C61 and vice versa. D) C32 (Part), Enford; from its property known as River House for a distance of approximately 75 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex water to remove and replace a new bypass meter. Alternative route: via C32 (unaffected length) -A345 - Enford Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 February 2020 and the closure will be required until 06 March 2020. E) C316 (Part), Swallowcliffe; from its junction with A30 to its junction with Gigant Street to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway hand patching and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via C316 (unaffected length) - High Street - Ansty Pond - A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for one day. F) C42 (Part), Woodford; from its junction with Wishford Road to its junction with C292 to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative
route: via C292 - A345 - C56 - C42 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for one day. For further information please contact Davina Hone (Atkins) on 01225 730376.
Orders (a) to (f) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
