SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT OF SOMERSET WEST AND TAUNTON
TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Temporary Road Closures: RCNTD12729 - Thorn Lane in the parish of Ruishton and Thornfalcon from 250m south of the junction with White Street, southwards for a distance of 355 metres.
RCNTD12737 - Cheddon Fitzpaine Road in the parishes of Cheddon Fitzpaine and West Monkton from the junction with Maidenbrook Lane, eastwards to the junction with Gotten Lane, for a distance of 648 metres.
RCNTD12741 - Moorland Road in the parish of Burrowbridge from the junction with Saltmoor south-westwards to the junction with West Yeo Farm Approach, for a distance of 1335 metres.
RCNTD12745 - Lyngford Lane in the parish of Taunton from 35m south of the junction with Cheddon Road, southwards for a distance of 72 metres.
RCNTD12747 - Stoke Road in the parishes of North Curry and Stoke St Gregory from the junction with Frog Lane, south-westwards to the junction with Broad Lane, a distance of 1010 metres.
RCNTD12748 - Knapp Lane in the parish of North Curry from the access to Knapp Lane Farmhouse, westwards for a distance of 145 metres.
RCNTD12749 - Newlands Crescent in the parish of Ruishton and Thornfalcon from 75m west of the junction with Newlands Road, westwards for a distance of 35 metres.
RCNTD12750 - Thorn Lane in the parish of Ruishton and Thornfalcon from the junction with Church Lane, northwards for a distance of 311 metres.
RCNTD12751 - Boome Lane in the parish of West Monkton from the junction with Dosters Lane, north-eastwards for a distance of 592 metres.
RCNTD12752 - West Sedgemoor Road in the parish of North Curry from outside Helland Farm to Sandstone Cottage, a distance of 472 metres. This order will enable KN Group on behalf of BT Openreach to carry out new pole installation and tree cutting works.
The Order becomes effective on 24 February 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The proposed commencement date is 2nd April 2020 but this is subject to change. Advanced warning signs will be installed 10 days prior to the commencement of the works.
