The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Hangings Lane, Prestwood in the Parish of Great Missenden CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hangings Lane from junction of Honor End Lane for approximately 10 metres. Alternative route: Hangings Lane, Hampden Road, Glade Road, Honor End Lane. The closure is required whilst Openreach cabling works take place commencing on 24 February 2020 between 09:00 and 16:00. Road closure will be between 09:00-16:00 daily. Road will be open at all other times The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 February 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (High Street, Market Square, Amersham in the Parish of Amersham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in High Street from junction of Church Street for approximately 50 metres. Alternative route: Market Square, Whielden Street, Amersham Bypass, Whielden Lane, High Street. The closure is required whilst Cadent gas new connection works take place commencing on 22 February 2020 between 08:00 and 18:00. This will take place over 2weekends. 22-23 Feb 2020 from 08:00-18:00 and 29 Feb -01March 2020 between 08:00-18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 February 2020, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Notice is hereby given that on 14th February 2020, Buckinghamshire County Council made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order, which comes into operation on 21st February 2020, is to amend waiting restrictions along various roads in Prestwood and Great Missenden as specified in the schedule below.

Acopyofthe Order and Plans showing the lengths of road affected, together with acopyofthe Council's Statement of Reasons for makingthe Order may be inspected during normal office hours at County Hall, Aylesbury and during normal opening hours at Great Missenden Library.
