Temporary Closure of Dodhams Lane, Bradpole, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along DODHAMS LANE, BRADPOLE, BRIDPORT from its junction with A3066, a distance of approximately 50 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 17 February 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 7 March 2020.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out replacement of surface water carrier pipe and construction of associated chambers.
On this occasion there will be no alternative route.

Temporary Closure of Village Road, Bradpole
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VILLAGE ROAD, BRADPOLE between its junction with the A3066 and its junction with Fishweir Lane, a distance of approximately 30 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 2 March 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 April 2020. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution, safe access to replace all electrical apparatus in substation including building new plinths. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; A3066- Townsend Way-Mangerton Lane - Village Road.
