(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the Schedule.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 22/02/20 exact dates will be specified on http://Roadworks.org.
The Closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst road widening works are undertaken on behalf of Essex County Council. For all enquiries please contact Essex County Council.
The Order will come into effect on 22/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Weeley Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Weeley Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point 322m east of The Green for approximately 15m north east. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24/02/2020 to 03/03/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of new foul sewer connection relating to a section 50 S50-1383 is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Weeley Road, A133, Heckfords Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24/02/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or
until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.5) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 previously advertised as The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.25) Order 201*.
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Cavalry Road, Blacksmith Lane, Dragoon Road, Lancer Street, Hussar Close in the Borough of Colchester:

2. To introduce 'Resident Permit Holders Only Permit B1 Holders Only' restrictions on the following length of Cavalry Road, Blacksmith Lane, Dragoon Road, Lancer Street, Hussar Close in the Borough of Colchester:

All residents of Cavalry Road, Dragoon Road, Blacksmith Lane, Hussar Close and Lancer Street are eligible to purchase a permit.
A permit holder must be a permanent resident of the property to have a permit. Further details about the Colchester resident permit parking scheme including costs of permits can be found at: http://www1.parkingpartnership.org/north/permits This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile number TL990 240, TL990 242 revision 0 to revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2020.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Abberton Road, Layer-de-la-Haye & Layer Road, Abberton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Abberton Road, Layer-de-la-Haye & Layer Road, Abberton in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 520m southeast of the junction with Bounstead Hill for a distance of approximately 540m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 02/03/20 for 21 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBZ016PF13 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while joint box works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Bounstead Hill, Bounstead Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Roman Way, Hooper Avenue, Blackheath, Mersea Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 20/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dowling Road, Mount Bures) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dowling Road, Mount Bures in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 130m southwest of its junction with Peartree Hill for a distance of approximately 130m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 02/03/20 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002930 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while culvert strengthening works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Dowling Road, Bells Hill, Peartree Hill, Colchester Road, Old Barn Road, Hall Road, Takeleys and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Water Lane, Little Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Little Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Fishponds Hill for a distance of approximately 490m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/02/20 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034829666 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Fishponds Hill, London Road, Horkesley Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Gray Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gray Road, Colchester, in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 35m east of its junction with Oxford Road for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 02/03/20 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000888566 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service disconnection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Hospital Road, Creffield Road, Oxford Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Key Road, Clacton On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Key Road, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17/02/20 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03756802446/01 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Warwick Road, St Osyth Road, Old Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 06/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Berechurch Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Berechurch Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Pownhall Crescent to its junction with Queen Mary Road, a distance of approximately 280m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/02/20 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2278085 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Berechurch Road, Mersea Road, Abbots Road, Berechurch Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 06/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Turner Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Turner Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Holden Road to its junction with Peto Avenue, a distance of approximately 275m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/02/20 for 1 night, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM56933192 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Turner Road, Mill Road, Northern Approach Road and vice versa.

(Mill Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Northern Approach Road to its junction with Nayland Road, a distance of approximately 375m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17/02/20 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2276788 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Nayland Road, Mile End Road, North Station Roundabout, Northern Approach Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 06/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
