ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WINTERBOURNE ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Winterbourne Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Winterbourne Road at its junction with London Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via Wiltshire Road, Langdale Road, London Road and reverse, or via London Road, Oaklands Road, Goston Road and Winterbourne Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 18 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new customer connection on behalf of UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Thornton Row.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Thornton Row will be closed at its junction with London Road;
(b) the two disabled bays adjacent to the flank wall of No. 774 London Road will be suspended.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force residential access will be maintained.
4. The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden;
(c) any vehicle involved in carrying out the specified works. 13 February 2020

MELVILLE AVENUE. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to
temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Melville Avenue.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Melville Avenue will be closed at its junction with Coombe Road.
3. During the works the alternative route for traffic will be via Coombe Road, Castlemaine Avenue, Ballater Road and Melville Avenue or via Melville Avenue, Ballater Road, Castlemaine Avenue, Binfield Road, Croham Park Avenue and Coombe Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works; (a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ABERDEEN ROAD. CROYDON
1 Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe repair works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Aberdeen Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Eastbound one-way working will apply in Aberdeen Road (from South End towards St. Peter's Road).
(b) Parking in Aberdeen Road will be suspended as necessary to facilitate the works.
3. During the works the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via St Peter's Road, Coombe Road and South End, or via South End, St Peter's Road, Selsdon Road, Bartlett Street and Brighton Road as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 14 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days between 8.30am and 4.30pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

OAKLANDS. KENLEY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to renew a water main, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Oaklands, Kenley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Oaklands will be closed at its junction with Hayes Lane.
3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Hayes Lane and Park Road. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
4. The Order will come into operation on 02 March 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately three months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place in Bramley Hill, Tanfield Road, Southbridge Road, Keens Road and Parker Road, road closures will apply at the following locations between 7am and 4pm on the approximate dates shown below.

3. During the works adjacent parking bays maybe suspended as necessary for short periods during trenching excavations.
4. Whilst the works are taking place the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as shown above. Resident access will be maintained.

However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

GROVE ROAD & GOLDWELL ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to Install a new electrical supply, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian traffic and parking
In Grove Road and Goldwell Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place waiting restrictions will apply at any time in the following sections of Grove Road and Goldwell Road during the specified periods:
(a) Grove Road, the south-west side, between its junctions with Kirklees Road and Ashley Road - 05 March to 18 March 2020.
(b) Grove Road, the north-east side, between a point 10 metres southeast of a point opposite the south-eastern kerb-line of Kirklees Road and its junction with Ashley Road - 05 March to 18 March 2020.
(c) Grove Road, both sides, between its junctions with Ashley Road and Goldwell Road - 19 March to 02 April 2020.
(d) Goldwell Road, both sides, between its junction with Grove Road and the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Goldwell Road - 19 March to 02 April 2020.
3. During the works the north-eastern footway of Grove Road and the south-eastern footway of Goldwell Road (between Grove Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 5 and 7 Goldwell Road) will be closed and pedestrians will be provided with a walkway in the carriageway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 05 March 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
