ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ABBOTS LANGLEY 35
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Abbots Langley 35, from Oak Green east towards Trowley Rise, for an approximate distance of 190 metres. Alternative route: via Oak Green and Trowley Rise The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 10th February 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 3 weeks to complete. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST JOHNS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of St Johns Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Franklin Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 83m. An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Station Road, Clarendon Road and St Johns Road. or via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove, Clarendon Road and St Johns Road. The Order is needed because the construction and dismantling of a tower crane is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B5378 SHENLEY ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B5378 Shenley Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Cardinal Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 170m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via B5378 Shenley Road, A5135 (Elstree Way/Rowley Lane), A1 Barnet Bypass, A411 Barnet Lane, A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill North) and B5378 (Allum Lane/Shenley Road). The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:- 1. that length of Cardiff Road, Watford from its junction with St James Road south westwards to its junction with Occupation Road, a distance of approximately 167m. An alternative route will be via Cardiff Road, A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road), St James Road, Westbury Road and Liverpool Road. 2. that length of Windsor Road, Watford from its junction with Sandringham Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Sandown Road, a distance of approximately 166m. An alternative route will be via Sandringham Road, Osborne Road and Sandown Road. 3. that length of Tucker Street, Watford from its junction with Neal Street north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Watford Field Road, a distance of approximately 150m. An alternative route will be via Neal Street, Elfrida Road, Lammas Road and Watford Field Road. 4. that length of The Chase, Watford from its westernmost junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road northwards, eastwards and southwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 5. that length of Queens Avenue, Watford from its junction with Mildred Avenue south eastwards to its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane, a distance of approximately 486m. An alternative route will be via Mildred Avenue, Hagden Lane and A4145 Hagden Lane. The Order is needed because utility improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with A404 Chorleywood Road westwards to its junction with The Drive (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 140m. An alternative route will be via A404 Chorleywood Road, The Clump and Valley Road. The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF STIRLING WAY, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Stirling Way, Borehamwood from a point 143m north east of its junction with the A411 Barnet Lane/ A1 Barnet Bypass roundabout north eastwards for a distance of approximately 45m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Stirling Way, A1 Barnet Bypass, A5135 Rowley Lane, A1 Barnet Bypass, Ripon Way and Stirling Way. The Order is needed because utility service works and the replacement of an existing utility pole are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
