THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Public Footpath Amersham AMS/56/1) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath Amersham AMS/56/1. The closure is required in the interest of public safety whilst tree works are executed along the River Misbourne through Barn Meadow. Alternative route is via the existing highway, using Mill Way, School Lane and Pondwicks to access pedestrian entrances to Barn Meadow. The Order will come into operation on 4th February 2020, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council intends has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Bank Street, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2020 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bank Street from junction of Cock Lane for approximately 25 metres. Alternative route: Cock Lane, London Road, Gomm Road. The closure is required whilst reinstatement of the carriageway works take place commencing on 15 February 2020 between 09:30 and 16:00. The closure is required whilst Openreach ducting works take place commencing on 10 February 2020 between 08:00 and 16:00.
