(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30/40mph Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in schedule 1 to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads and those in schedule 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30/40mph speed limit in the lengths of road in the schedule. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'NoWaiting atAny Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th February 2020, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Fairstead Hall Road, Fairstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fairstead Hall Road, Fairstead in the District of Braintree from its junction with Braintree Road to its junction with Fairstead Road, a distance of approximately 1570m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/02/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2290068 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fencing and guardrail works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Fairstead Road, New Road, Owls Hill, Braintree Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Albert Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close that length of Albert Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction. 2. To temporarily suspend the oneway in Albert Road, Witham in the District of Braintree from its southern junction with Braintree Road to its northern junction with Braintree Road as detailed in "The Essex County Council (Albert Road, Witham) (One Way Traffic) Order 1979. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23/02/20 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0133356168 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Chipping Hill, Superstore Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Terling Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Terling Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Witham Road to its junction with Powers Hall End, a distance of approximately 1730m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153053131 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Faulkbourne Road, The Street, Church Hill, Witham Road, Pole Lane, Green Lane, Fairstead Road, Peg Millars Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Little Braxted Lane, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Braxted Lane, Witham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 390m south of its junction with Colemans Bridge for a distance of approximately 100m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/02/20 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CA789W000IBY41HWM02 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting and overhead cables works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Colemans Bridge, Colchester Road, Newland Street, Maldon Road, The Grove, Blue Mills Hill, Witham Road, Tiptree Road, Kelvedon Road, Heath Lane, Lea Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Water Lane, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Braintree Road to its junction with Water Lane, a distance of approximately 1220m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/02/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5002/CCESSB1/A0078Q - County Broadband LTD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by County Broadband LTD. An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Church End, Shalford Green, Shalford Road, Jaspers Green, Water Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Terling Hall Road, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Terling Hall Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 1290m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005KN1W000000HFDPVL-ES - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Hatfield Road, Terling Road, Station Road, The Street, London Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Manor Street, Fairfield Road, Victoria Street, Braintree) (Introduction of One Way and Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a oneway in that length of Manor Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Railway Street to its junction with Fairfield Road, a distance of approximately 395m (traffic to flow east to west).

2. To temporarily introduce a one way in that length of Fairfield Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Manor Street to its junction with Victoria Street, a distance of approximately 95m (traffic to flow north to south).

3. To temporarily introduce a one way in that length of Victoria Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Fairfield Road to its junction with Railway Street, a distance of approximately 380m (traffic to flow west to east).

4. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

The "Essex County Council (Various Streets, Braintree) (One Way Traffic) Order 1997" will be temporarily amended to include the above one ways and "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting atAny Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Orders and Amendments to those Orders shall remain in force.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23/03/20 for 519 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003918- Knight Group). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while regeneration works are undertaken by Knight Group.
The Order came into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pods Lane, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pods Lane, Rayne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 45m north of its junction with Dunmow Road for a distance of approximately 90m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/02/20 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010577333 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Shalford Road, The Street, Dunmow Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
