TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ABBOTS LANGLEY 35
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Abbots Langley 35, from Oak Green east towards Trowley Rise, for an approximate distance of 190 metres. Alternative Route: via Oak Green and Trowley Rise The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing works to take place. The section of Footpath Abbots Langley 35 will be closed on or after 10th February 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 3 weeks to complete.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VALLEY ROAD, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with A404 Chorleywood Road westwards to its junction with The Drive (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 140m. An alternative route will be via A404 Chorleywood Road, The Clump and Valley Road. The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN BUSHEY AND WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Bushey/A41 Otterspool Way, Watford and A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, Watford from a point 405m north west of its junction with the A41 Elton Way/B462 Hartspring Lane roundabout north westwards to its junction with Woodmere Avenue, a distance of approximately 1165m. An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/ Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way).
2. the A41 northbound slip road leading onto the A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, Watford from its junction with the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 (junction 5) roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, a distance of approximately 420m. An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/ Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way). The Order is needed because highway works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF REDHALL LANE, CHANDLERS CROSS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Redhall Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Sarratt Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 410m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Sarratt Road, Loudwater Lane, The Green, Baldwins Lane, A412 (Watford Road/Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 Hempstead Road, Grove Mill Lane, Fir Tree Hill and Redhall Lane or via Redhall Lane, Fir Tree Hill, Grove Mill Lane, A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 (St Albans Road/Rickmansworth Road/Watford Road), Baldwins Lane, The Green, Loudwater Lane and Sarratt Road. The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHURCH STREET, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Skidmore Way south eastwards, south westwards, southwards and south westwards to its junction with the A404 Riverside Drive/A404 Church Street roundabout (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 141m, except for access. An alternative route will be via Church Street, Northway, Station Road, Homestead Road, A412 Rectory Road and A404 Riverside Drive or via A404 Riverside Drive, A412 (Rectory Road/Park Road), High Street and Church Street. The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SWISS CLOSE, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Swiss Close, Watford from a point 42m north west of its junction with Swiss Avenue clockwise for a distance of approximately 58m (“the Road”). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because water main connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gammons Lane, Watford from its easternmost junction with Maude Crescent eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 83m, except for access. An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, St Georges Road, The Harebreaks, A412 St Albans Road and Gammons Lane.
2. To prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of the following lengths of roads, whilst works are in progress:- a) that length of Gammons Lane, Watford from its easternmost junction with Maude Crescent eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 83m. b) that length of Maude Crescent, Watford from its junction with Halsey Place north eastwards to its junction with The Harebreaks, a distance of approximately 127m.
3. The existing one way traffic system on that length of Maude Crescent, Watford from its junction with Halsey Place north eastwards to its junction with The Harebreaks, a distance of approximately 127m, will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
4. The existing prohibition of driving Order on that length of Gammons Lane bus link road, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 23m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
