(20mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 2. The County of Wiltshire (A30, Fovant)
(30mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke the County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Fovant) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2017 and re-enact it in the above Order 1, to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Fovant) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2013 and The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Fovant) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2017 and re-enact, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads: Brook Street, Church Lane, Mary Barters Lane, Middle Ground, Mill Lane and The Poplars - the complete lengths; C64 Dinton Road - from a point 10 metres north west of its junction with Middle Ground to a point 30 metres north of its junction with Leatler Close; C276 Tisbury Road/Moor Hill - from its junction with Sling Orchard to a point 305 metres north of its junction with Sutton Road; Sutton Road -from its junction with Tisbury Road to a point 215 metres south west of its junction with The Poplars. Copies of the draft Orders, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Tisbury Library, Nadder Centre, Weaveland Road SP3 6HJ between the hours of 2pm to 5pm Monday and Tuesday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 10am to midday Saturday until 17 February 2020. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Tisbury Road (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A303 Slip Road for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a northerly direction to enable Ringway to carry out Widening of footway and splitter islands. Alternative route: via C32Tisbury Road (unaffected length) -Salisbury Road - A3028 - A345 - A303 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 February 2020 and the closure will be required until 11 March 2020. For further information please contact Julie Watts (Wiltshire Council) on 03004560105. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) Pembroke Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Roman Road to its junction with Queen Alexandra Road to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway hand patching and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via Queen Alexandra Road - Coronation Road - Roman Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 January 2020 and the closure will be required
between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 29 January 2020. For further

C) St Marks Avenue (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Netheravon Road to its junction with Somerset Road to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway hand patching and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via Bishopdown Road - Barrington Road - A30 London Road -St Marks Avenue (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 January 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 28 January 2020. D) Porton Road (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with London Road to its junction with A303 to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway hand patching and associated maintenance works. This Order will come into operation on 29 January 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 069:00 until 30 January 2020. For further information

will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
