Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Order 2020 Footpath 12 Alresford
On 13 January 2020 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to divert:

(i) A part length of Footpath 12 Alresford commencing from the point where it connects to Footpath 23 Alresford running in an easterly then generally northerly direction through a wooded field boundary for a distance of 299 metres to the point where it connects to Footpath 14 Alresford at a point inside a field boundary at the north west corner of a field, to an alternative route being of variable width of between 1 and 2 metres commencing at the aforementioned start point running in a north north westerly direction along the riverside path for a distance of 261 metres to where it is level with some existing stepping stones to the east

(ii) An additional section of Footpath 12 Alresford commencing from the aforementioned point where it connects to Footpath 14 Alresford at a point inside a field boundary at the north west corner of a field running in a west south westerly then a north westerly direction through a wooded area adjacent to the riverside path then finally in a west south westerly direction for a final distance of 359 metres to connect to the riverside path at a point south west of Alresford Grange, to an alternative route being of variable width of between 1 and 2 metres commencing from the aforementioned start point running in a south westerly direction through a wooded area utilising existing steps and stepping stones for a distance of 58 metres to a point where it meets the riverside path continuing in a generally north westerly direction along the riverside path for a final distance of 338 metres to the aforementioned end point

(iii) A further section of Footpath 12 Alresford commencing from a point south of Creek Lodge and south of the established riverside path running in an east south easterly direction through hedges and other vegetation for a total distance of 355 metres to a point by Ford Lane where it connects to Byway 22 Alresford, to an alternative route being of variable width of between 1 and 2 metres commencing at the aforementioned start point running in an east south easterly direction along an established path for a distance of 75 metres to a point by a field boundary south east of Creek lodge then continuing along the established riverside path in an east south easterly direction for a final distance of 280 metres to the aforementioned end point

Public Path Extinguishment Order 2020 Footpath 12 Alresford
On 13 January 2020 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 which will extinguish a part length of Footpath 12 Alresford commencing from a point located north west of Alresford Lodge and east of the River Colne where this path meets Footpath 23 Alresford running in a south south easterly then south easterly direction for a total distance of 474 metres to a point located at the southern junction with Footpath 23 Alresford where the path continues unaffected.
A copy of both the Diversion and Extinguishment Orders and the Order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge atTendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
The alternative diversion routes come into force on 10 February 2020, and the old routes shall be stopped up with effect from 17 February 2020. The extinguishment of part of Footpath 12 Alresford shall come into effect on 27 January 2020, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 23 January 2020 make an application to the High Court.
Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2020 Footpath 10 Brightlingsea

The above order, made on 10 January 2020, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 10 Brightlingsea. commencing from grid reference 60944,21693 and running in an east south easterly direction for a total distance of 142 metres to grid reference 60957,21690 to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a south then south easterly direction for a distance of 16 metres to grid reference 60945, 21692 then in a north easterly direction for a further distance of 14 metres to grid reference 60945,21693 then continuing in a generally east south easterly direction for a final distance of 133 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge atTendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at County Hall, Market Road Chelmsford CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from County Hall at a charge. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Laurence Page Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 21st February, 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made and leave an email address for a prompt reply.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Mary Lane North, Great Bromley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mary Lane North, Great Bromley in the district of Tendring, from its junction with Stone Road for a distance of approximately 485 in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5002/CCESSB1/A0036Z - County Broadband LTD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by County Broadband LTD. An alternative route is available via Stone Road, Chase Road East, Mary Lane North and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hythe Station Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Bus Lane Suspension) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Hythe Station Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 15m northeast of its junction with Hawkins Road for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the bus lane in Hythe Station Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, the whole width of the carriageway from a point 25m east of its junction with Hawkins Road eastwards for a distance of 58m as detailed in "The Colchester Borough (Various Roads, Colchester) (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 2000 and all amendments to that Order for the duration of the closure. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-53-54-100220 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Hythe Station Road, Hawkins Road, Hawkins Road Roundabout, Eastern Approach, Clingoe Roundabout, Elmstead Road, Greenstead Roundabout, Greenstead Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a distance of approximately 65m north west of its junction with Kiln Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/02/20 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735LTN1-56-05-090220 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while railway maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

(Coan Avenue, Clacton On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coan Avenue, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with West Road to its junction with Kings Road, a distance of approximately 270m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/02/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282592 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Kings Road, Wash Lane, West Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Salisbury Road, Holland On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Salisbury Road, Holland On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Turpins Avenue to its junction with Kings Avenue, a distance of approximately 250m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282114 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Burrs Road, Clacton On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burrs Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 75m east of its junction with Telford Road for a distance of approximately 65m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/02/20 for 2 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-68-04-090119 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Gorse Lane, Thorpe Road, Thorpe Road Roundabout, Centenary Way, Holland Road, Sladburys Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Thoroughgood Road, Clacton On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Thoroughgood Road, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring from its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/20 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2288817 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Thoroughgood Road, Skelmersdale Road, Granville Road, Holland Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 23/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road/Bures Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road/Bures Road, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 205m north of the junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 2645m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2289103 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Chappel Road, Hall Road, Colchester Road, Lower Road, SandyHill, Fordham Road, Packards Lane, Wormingford Road, Plummers Road, Moat Road, Ponders Road, Halstead Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
