(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.3) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the existing 'No Waiting at Any time' restrictions on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon:
Road
Description
Access Road 1
Both Sides: From its junction with Paycocke Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 2.8 metres.
Access Road 2
Both Sides: From its junction with Christopher Martin Road, in southerly direction for a distance of approximately 2.8 metres.
Christopher Martin Road
South Side: From a point approximately 105.5 metres west from the western kerb line of A132 East Mayne, west for approximately 27.4 metres.

2. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restrictions on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon:
Road
Description
Access Road 3
Both Sides: From its junction with Christopher Martin Road, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 5.7 metres
Christopher Martin Road
South Side: From a point approximately 81.7 metres west of its junction with A132 East Mayne, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 14.7 metres.
Paycocke Road
North Side: From a point approximately 72.9 metres west of its junction with A132 East Mayne, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 14.2 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TQ730 905 & TQ730 910 revision 0 to revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 24 January 2020.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.5) Order 20**

The Essex County Council (Broughton Road, Hadleigh) (One Way) Order 20**

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effects of the orders:
1. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of roads, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point: Broughton Road, BOTH SIDES: 1) From its junction with the southern kerb line of Church Road, south for approximately 10 metres. 2) From its junction with the northern kerb line of Church Road, north for approximately 20 metres. Church Road, BOTH SIDES: 1) From its junction with the eastern kerb line of Broughton Road, east for approximately 10 metres. 2) From its junction with the western kerb line of Broughton Road, west for approximately 10 metres.
This order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TQ815 867 revision 0 to revision 1.
2. To reverse the existing one way order on the following length of Broughton Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point from its junction with Church Road to its junction with A13 London Road, thereby only permitting vehicles to travel in a southerly direction.

'The Urban District of Benfleet (Various Streets, Hadleigh) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment No.1) Order, 1970' is hereby revoked.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30/40mph Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30/40mph speed limit in the lengths of road in the schedule. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30/01/20, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Basildon Road, Laindon) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting' restriction in that length of Basildon Road, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Buckingham Road to its junction with Church Road, a distance of approximately 100m on both sides of the carriageway. Signs will be installed indicating when the 'No Waiting' restriction will be in force. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The 'No Waiting' is scheduled to commence on 30/01/20 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003001 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The 'No Waiting' is required for the safety of the public and workforce while investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 30/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(High Street, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ducketts Mead to its junction with Canute Close, a distance of approximately 145m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/20 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2279494 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Street, Anchor Lane, Sycamore Way and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(London Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from its junctions with Carpenters Arms Roundabout for a distance of approximately 405m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/04/20 for 9 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003892 -Walker Construction). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while surfacing works and construction of traffic islands is undertaken by Walker Construction.
An alternative route is available via London Road, Station Road, Crown Hill, High Street, High Road, GreatWheatley Road, Brook Road, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Fairglen Interchange, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hyde Wood Lane, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hyde Wood Lane, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 350m south of its junction with Lark Hill Road for a distance of approximately 390m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/01/20 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WANCAL0V01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken
by BT.
An alternative route is available via Hyde Wood Lane, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
