TRAFFORD COUNCIL Members’ Allowance Scheme Recommendations of an Independent Remuneration Panel
The Council gives notice that they have received recommendations from an independent remuneration panel in respect of amendments to the Council’s allowance scheme for Members. The panel recommend that the Scheme of Members’ Allowances for Trafford Council be amended to include a Special Responsibility Allowance of £8,104 for the Lead Member for Education and £1,654 for the Shadow Lead Member and that the allowances be backdated to the date of appointment of 22 May 2019. The panel’s recommendations will be submitted to the Council meeting on 29 January 2020 for determination.
