(DENTON APPROACH WESTCLIFF-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY)
ORDER 2020 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)
Notice is hereby given
that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close, the length of Denton Approach from its junction with A127 Prince Avenue/Prince Avenue Service Road to its junction with Denton Avenue The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 202C or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting Whilst the closure is in force, emergency services access will be maintained where possible.

The alternative routes will be via A127 Prince Avenue, A1159 Manners Way, Oaken Grange Drive, Rochford Road, Hornby Avenue, Cranston Avenue and Denton Avenue and vice versa The Order will come into effect on 24th January 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier The closure is required to prevent through traffic in the road due to the works being carried out as part of the Bell Junction mprovement Scheme.
