Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make to temporarily close a lane to all traffic on: A3102 Bath Road (Part), Melksham - Southbound Only; from its junction with A3102 New Broughton Road for a distance of approximately 110 metres in a southerly direction to enable Ringway to carry out Footway kerbing and pedestrian barriers across Melksham Town Bridge. Alternative route: via A3102 (unaffected length) - Eastern Way - Melksham Relief Road -Snowberry Lane - Spa Road - A365 - A350 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 10 February 2020 and the closure will be required until 05 May 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL MELKSHAM 92 EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND
STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019
On 23 December 2019, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish the entire width and length of Footpath no. 92 Melksham, leading from Spa Road at, OS Grid Reference ST 9108-6319, in a north-easterly direction for approximately 7 metres to OS Grid Reference ST 9109-6319, continuing in a south-easterly direction for approximately 38 metres, at
05 Grid Reference ST 9112-6317 as shown on the order plan. Thereupon the Melksham Urban District Council Area definitive map and statement dated 1953 shall be modified accordingly.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Rights of Way and Countryside Section, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. The order comes into force on 23 December 2019, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule
6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 17 January 2020 make an application to the High Court.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Pedestrian Crossing - A363 Bath Road, Bradford On Avon
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes the installation of a "PUFFIN" (Pedestrian User-Friendly Intelligent) Crossing, a form of traffic signal-controlled crossing in A363 Bath Road, Bradford on Avon at a point approximately 35 metres north west of its junction with Berryfield Road.
A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Bradford on Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford on Avon between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 10 February 2020.
