(Amendment No.1) Order 20** Proposed construction of Speed Table on Seymour Road & The Avenue, Hadleigh Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the following Seymour Road & The Avenue in Hadleigh, in the Borough of Castle Point: Road Description
Seymour Road Both Sides:
i. From its junction with the southern kerb line of The Avenue, south for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
ii. From its junction with the northern kerb line of The Avenue, north for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The Avenue Both Sides:
i. From a point in line with the western kerb line of Seymour Road, west for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
ii. From a point in line with the eastern kerb line of Seymour Road, east for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by the substitution of tile number TQ815 870 revision 0 with revision 1.
Notice is hereby given under Section S90C of the Highways Act 1980 that Essex County Council intends to construct a Speed Table under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 on the following length of Seymour Road & The Avenue, Hadleigh, in the Borough of Castle Point

Seymour Road From a point approximately 4 metres south of the southern kerb line of
The Avenue, north for 15.4 metres. The Avenue i. From its junction with the eastern kerb line of Seymour Road, east for 7 metres.
ii. From its junction with the western kerb line of Seymour Road, west for 5.8 metres.
Maximum height of speed tables 75 millimetres, and are carriageway width, gradient of approximately 1:13.3.

(A127 Southend Arterial Road and associated slip roads, Cross District) (Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 50mph speed limit on the following length of A127 Southend Arterial Roads and associated slip roads in the Borough of Basildon (the roads are currently derestricted):

'The Essex County Council (A127 Southend Arterial Road, Various Areas) (Speed Limit) Order 2008' and 'The Essex County Council (A127 Southend Arterial Road (Fortune of War), Laindon) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2009 are hereby revoked. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 27 January 2020 or were appropriate TSRGD compliant signs are showing.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Lower Dunton Road, Dunton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Lower Dunton Road, Dunton in the Borough
of Basildon, from its junction with Main Drive for a distance of approximately 375m in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting' restriction on both sides of the carriageway in the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the 'No Waiting' restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction and suspend any parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th February 2020 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2279891 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Lower Dunton Road, West Mayne, West Mayne Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Halfway House Roundabout, Tilbury Road, Bulphan Bypass, Brentwood Road, Doesgate Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 23/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Canewdon Road, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Road, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 215m west of its junction with Hyde Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 215m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21/01/20 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WAMM081Y01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane, Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road, Lark Hill Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 09/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been comp eted, whichever is the ear ier.
