AMENDMENT TO CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE CW3
INTRODUCTION OF 2 HOUR MAXIMUM STAY PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING IN CRUSOE ROAD

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.

2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places' Order would be to:-

(a) re-designate the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, which includes existing permit parking places and yellow line and a former loading bay, to shared use parking places operating Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. with a maximum 2 hour pay and display parking or "pay by phone" parking; and

(b) specify that the standard CW3 controlled parking zone charges and conditions apply.

3. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading ' Order would be to amend and update the waiting and loading restrictions to facilitate the introduction of the 2 hour maximum pay and display parking places in Crusoe Road.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) convert sections of existing parking places, in lengths of roads generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations to facilitate proposed vehicle crossovers;

(b) provide additional parking place in Hillside, the north-east side, from a point 5 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 15 and 16 Hillside, south-eastward for a distance of 12 metres.

3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)
WEST BARNES LANE, KT3
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 1) ORDER 2020
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate track renewal works at the Motspur Park Level Crossing on West Barnes Lane, KT3, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in West Barnes Lane between a point 20 metres south-west of the Motspur Park level crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of that level crossing;

(b) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. An alternative route for:-

(a) diverted vehicular traffic will be via West Barnes Lane, Claremont Avenue, Burlington Road and West Barnes Lane or vice versa;

(b) pedestrians will be via the adjacent footbridge.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal of the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above.

7. The Order will come into operation at 10pm on Friday 24th January 2020 and remain in force until 31st March 2020. Works are currently programmed to be carried out at night between 10pm and 5am, from 10pm on 24th January 2020 until 5am on 27th January 2020 and from 10pm on 31st January 2020 until 5am on 3rd February 2020.

ARTHUR ROAD, WIMBLEDON
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations at the Wimbledon Park Station in Arthur Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait (including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle) in Arthur Road, between its junction with Home Park Road and its junction with Melrose Avenue; or

(b) enter or proceed in the southern footway of Arthur Road between its junction with Melrose Avenue and the entrance to Wimbledon Park Station.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the restricted length of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed via the footway opposite.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Durnsford Road, Gap Road, Strathearn Road and Home Park Road or vice-versa.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (RPC) (NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 13 January 2020, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to remove the parking places and prohibit waiting by vehicles at any time (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for 20 minutes), in the lengths of road listed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 20 January 2020, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan specifying the road or lengths of road affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS IN MILNER ROAD, SW19 - WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND RAISED TABLE
THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above-mentioned Order, and under section 90A-F of the Highways Act 1980 propose to introduce a raised table in Milner Road.

2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order would be to convert the existing single yellow lines between the point closure bollards in Milner Road and its junction with Morden Road to "no waiting at any time" double yellow lines restriction.

3. The raised table would be 75mm high with a 1:20 gradient across the full width of Milner Road from the western kerb-line of Morden Road westward for a distance of 31.5 metres.

4. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Order relate and details of the raised table, can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.

5. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order or to the proposed raised table should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to
