CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED EXTENSION TO THE CROYDON NORTH CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE DUNHEVED ROAD NORTH, DUNHEVED ROAD SOUTH, DUNHEVED ROAD WEST, DUNHEVED CLOSE & SHARLAND CLOSE
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.K52) Order 20- The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No.K53) Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to extend the Croydon North Controlled Parking Zone into the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notices-la) introducing 8 hour 'pay by phone/permit' parking bays and

yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, with "at any time" yellow line waiting restrictions where necessary;
(b) existing yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain;

(c) charges for pay by phone parking in the bays will vary from 50p for 30 minutes to £8 for 8 hours (maximum) Monday to Saturday. Payments would be made via the RingGo pay by phone system;

(d) Residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice may apply for parking permits. Residents may also purchase permits for their visitors to use at a current cost of £4 per day (see permit charge details in Schedule 2 below).

3. The general effect of the Orders would also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

4. Copies of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

6. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, Place Department, Croydon Council, Floor 6 Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/K52 & K53 by 06 February 2020.

7. The Orders are intended to extend the Croydon North Controlled Parking Zone, into the roads listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice, introducing 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive waiting restrictions, in conjunction with 8 hour shared use (permit and pay by phone) bays. This would alleviate residents' parking problems caused by non-residents, including commuters, and improve road safety, keeping junctions clear and preventing obstructive parking.

PROPOSED CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE EXTENSION & AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING PERMIT HOLDERS -SUSSEX ROAD & SUNNY NOOK GARDENS
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.K38) Order 20 -
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No.K39) Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to extend the Croydon West Controlled Parking Zone into the uncontrolled north to south arm of Sussex Road (fronting Nos. 17 to 141 and 2a to 74 Sussex Road) and Sunny Nook Gardens:-

(a) introducing 8 hour 'pay-by-phone/permit' parking bays and single yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive into Sussex Road;

(b) introducing a permit parking area into Sunny Nook Gardens in which a valid permit is required to be displayed from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays and which is signed as such at the entrance but does not require signs or road markings for permit parking places within the area;

(c) existing yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain unchanged;

(d) charges for pay-by-phone parking in the bays in Sussex Road would vary from 30p for 30 minutes to £4.80 for 8 hours (maximum);

(e) Residents and businesses within the section of Sussex Road specified, Sunny Nook Gardens and the following properties in Selsdon Road (Even Nos. 196 to 208 and 220 to 230 inclusive, Odd Nos. 101 (flats 1-4) and 371) may apply for parking permits. Permit charges are shown in the Schedule to this Notice. A £30 administration fee applies to all new applications.

(f) Property Nos. 9 to 15 Sussex Road, which are currently within the South permit zone, would be transferred to the West permit zone in order to rationalise zone boundaries.

(g) The general effect of the Orders will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

The Orders are intended to extend the West Controlled Parking Zone into the remaining uncontrolled section of Sussex Road and Sunny Nook Gardens, introducing 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive waiting restrictions, in conjunction with 8 hour shared use (permit/pay-by-phone) bays in Sussex Road and a permit parking area operating at the same times into Sunny Nook Gardens. This would alleviate residents' parking problems caused by non-residents, including commuters.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS DANEBURY. NEW ADDINGTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate BT Openreach works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Danebury, New Addington.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Danebury will be closed outside no.87.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS SOUTHBRIDGE ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate utility connections, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Southbridge Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Southbridge Road will be closed outside no.90 to no.92 Southbridge Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Bramley Hill, Brighton Road, Nottingham Road, South End, Lower Coombe Street as appropriately signed

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 8 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

BLACKHORSE LANE AND ELMERS ROAD. CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to maintain road safety during works proposed to be carried out to Blackhorse Lane bridge they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily:

(a) Ban traffic proceeding in Elmers Road from turning right into Blackhorse Lane;

(b) Introduce one-way working south-east bound in Blackhorse Lane, between its junctions with Morland Road and Sissinghurst Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local roads as appropriately signed.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 31 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
