(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GALLEY LANE, BARNET) ORDER 2020

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Galley Lane, Barnet from its junction with Trotters Bottom south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 215m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Trotters Bottom, A1081 St Albans Road, A1000 High Street, A411 Wood Street and Galley Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B5378 GREEN STREET, SHENLEY) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B5378 Green Street, Shenley from a point 305m north west of its junction with Stapleton Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 86m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via B5378 (Green Street/Cowley Hill/Shenley Road/Allum Lane), A5183 (Watling Street/Cobden Hill/Watling Street), B556 Harper Lane and B5378 (Shenleybury/ Black Lion Hill/London Road/Woodhall Lane/Green Street). The Order is needed because electrical works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
