(Various Roads, Ashingdon/Canewdon) (Combined Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To extend the existing 40MPH Speed limit on Canewdon Road, Ashingdon/Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 730 metres east from its junction with north eastern kerb-line of Ashingdon Road generally east to a point approximately 109 metres west of the western kerb-line of Sycamore Way (this will encompass Lark Hill Road and part of Anchor Lane).
'The Essex County Council (Ashingdon Road & Fambridge Road, Ashingdon) (Restricted Road & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2013' is hereby revoked. All restrictions contained within the aforementioned order will remain in force by virtue of this order. Schedule 1 of 'The Essex County Council (Rochford District) Speed Restrictions) (No. 2) Order 2005' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to the Restricted Road restrictions in the Parish of Ashingdon and Canewdon, Schedule 2 is hereby revoked and Schedule 3 is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to 40MPH in the Parish of Ashingdon Only, all other restrictions will remain in force.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 11 January 2020. Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(London Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from its junctions with Carpenters Arms Roundabout for a distance of approximately 405m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/04/20 for 9 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003892 -Walker Construction). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while surfacing works and construction of traffic islands is undertaken by Walker Construction.
An alternative route is available via London Road, Station Road, Crown Hill, High Street, High Road, Great Wheatley Road, Brook Road, RayleighWeir Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Fairglen Interchange, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(High Street, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ducketts Mead to its junction with Canute Close, a distance of approximately 145m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/20 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2279494 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Street, Anchor Lane, Sycamore Way and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hyde Wood Lane, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hyde Wood Lane, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 350m south of its junction with Lark Hill Road for a distance of approximately 390m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/01/20 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WANCAL0V01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken
by BT.
An alternative route is available via Hyde Wood Lane, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Street and Church Street, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of High Street, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford. from its junction with Hockley Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Church Street, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Church Street for a distance of approximately 15m in a northerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/01/20 for 2 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2288951 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Websters Way, Eastwood Road, High Street, Crown Hill, Station Road, London Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 02/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
