ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - DROVE ROAD & DROVE CRESCENT, PORTSLADE

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 16 December 2019 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

(a) Drove Road, Portslade will be closed between the junctions of Valley Road to South Street.



(b) Drove Crescent, Portslade will be closed at its junction with Valley Road westwards for approx. 50m.



2.The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out Gas Mains Replacement works.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4.This Order comes into force on 13 January 2020 for eighteen months or

until such sooner time as the works are completed which is estimated to be 6 March 2020.
