ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - THE LINKWAY
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 19th December 2019 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
a) Introduce No Waiting Monday to Friday 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs (except Bank Holidays) in The Linkway over the following lengths
of the carriageway:
i. North side from its junction with Davey Drive westwards for approximately 79 metres.
ii. North side from a point approximately 91 metres west of its junction
with Davey Drive to a point 39 metres further continuing westwards.
iii. South side from its junction with Davey Drive westwards for
approximately 52 metres.
b) Introduce No Waiting at Any Time over the following lengths of carriageway:
i. South side from a point approximately 52 metres west of its junction with Davey Drive to a point approximately 12 metres
further continuing westwards.
ii. South side from a point approximately 95 metres west of its junction with Davey Drive to a point approximately 10 metres
further continuing westwards.
2.The Order is necessary to maintain a clear access route for construction
vehicles associated with a development site located adjacent to The Linkway.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained. 4.This Order comes into force on 6th January 2020
for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed and the signs and road markings removed.
