Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Dunch Lane (Part), Melksham; from its junction with A365 Bath Road for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a north easterly direction to enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out a gas mains replacement. Alternative route: via Dunch Lane (unaffected length) - Southbrook Road - Roundpond - A365 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 06 January 2020 and the closure will be required until 17 January 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Road - Combe Lane - Upper Garston Lane and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order which previously came into operation on 05 February 2019 will now recommence on 06 January 2020 and the closure will be required until 07 January 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 13 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Ladbrook Lane to its junction with Thingley Top. Footpath 15 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Lanes End to its junction with Footpath 16 Corsham. Footpath 16 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Thingley Top to its junction with Footpath 15 Corsham. Footpath 41, Lacock; from its junction with Wick Lane for a distance of approximately 830m in a northerly direction. Bridleway 43, Lacock; from its junction with Sandpitts Lane for a distance of approximately 180m in a northerly direction to enable Works to be carried out on Thingley Top and to install a new outfall pipeline. Alternative route: An alternative route will be provided around the site and using the local rights of way network. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 08 January 2020 will now continue in force for a further 06 months or until completion of works, whichever is the earliest. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete. The Order has a maximum duration of 6 months.
