LARCH AVENUE. SHILDON TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019
The Council on 17/12/19 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 12 m of Larch Ave that extends southwards from its junction with C3S Middridge Ln Shildon to enable gas main improvement works on or adjacent to the said length of road to be undertaken. Alternative route from Larch Ave via the section of road that runs parallel to Middridge Lane (outside Nos 3-12) leading to Queensway and onto C3S Middridge Lane, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18/12/19 and are anticipated to be completed in 1 week. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
