Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1227, Grafton Lane, Callow, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1227, Grafton Lane, Callow, adjacent to Grafton Cottage. Grid Ref: 349664/235689 to 349667/235671. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Grafton Lane onto A49 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new supply connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st of January 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days .
