Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1292, Dormington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1292, Dormington, at St Peters Church to the junction of The Maltings. Grid Ref: 358343/240281 to 358408/240304. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1292 onto B4224, Nimrod Drive, Qorsty Lane, Church Road and onto A438 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to S81 replace manhole cover and frame works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th of January 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
