Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence

The Original Bowling Company has given to Basildon District Council pursuant to section 34 paragraph 7 of the Eighth Schedule to the Licensing Act 2003, an application for variation of the premises licence applied for in respect of Hollywood Bowl Basildon.
A brief description of the proposed variation is: To remove existing bar counter and replace with horseshoe bar, remove existing raised area to left of existing bar, provide seating booths to wall between bar and amusements area, provide seating booths where existing raised area is that can be accessed from the bar or concourse. Modernise Bowlers seating area by cutting down the height, remove Kids Party room and provide 2 x circular party booths.

Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations to the Licensing Authority (Basildon District Council).
All such representations shall be made in writing within 28 days from the 28th Jan 2015.

A record of the application and the statutory register of the Licensing Authority, may be inspected by appointment at the Council’s office address given above, between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays)

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application; the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction being £5,000.
