The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Feilden Street, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2020

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1) (a) o1 the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order Is to close Feilden Street from its junction with Paradise Lane to its junction with Barton Street.

The closure Is necessary for the following reason: Gas diversion works.

The Order will come Into force on 2nd January 2020 and shall continue In force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15th January 2020.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Feilden Street, Montague Street, King Street, Freckleton Street, St Peter Street, Mincing Lane and Barton Street.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
